01 — From the Director

This isn't
a season.
It's a launch.

BTB families — what you're about to read isn't a normal newsletter. This month marks the biggest infrastructure leap in the history of our club.

A new website. A new staff operating system. An Online Academy launching September 1st. A Recruiting Hub. Exclusive trainers. And a tournament season already producing hardware. Everything below is built around one promise: your player gets the highest standard of development on Long Island — on the field, off the field, and into college.

— Dan Achatz, Director
02 — The New BTB Era

Four launches.
One mission.

We rebuilt the engine. Here's what's now live for BTB families and staff.

01 · LIVE NOW

bethebestli.com

More than a website. The central resource for everything BTB and everything travel lacrosse. As we grow inside the lacrosse industry, we're holding ourselves to a higher standard — and the new platform reflects it.

An interactive experience built to develop players off the field, keep families locked into BTB events, and deliver constant updates on what's happening across the travel lacrosse world.

Parent Hub
Private access. Event details, schedules, club news.
Coach Hub
Staff-only. Plans, rosters, internal resources.
Player Tools
Off-field development built into the platform.
Travel Lax World
Live updates from across the industry.

Private, role-based access ensures parents and coaches see what's relevant to them — securely.

02 · INTERNAL · LIVE

BTB-OS

The all-inclusive, integrated hub our coaching staff operates from every day. Attendance, schedules, communication, and every BTB system — unified into a single platform.

Coaches access a complete library of practice plans, drills, and the ability to build their own personal playbook. Every workflow that used to live in five different places now lives in one.

Attendance
Tracked in real time at every practice and event.
Schedules
Full team and club calendars in one view.
Playbook
Practice plans, drills, and coach-built playbooks.
Automations
SMS updates and reminders sent automatically.
★ Built-In Accountability

Attendance is closely monitored because it directly impacts player development and team performance. Parents receive proactive alerts if their player's attendance puts them at risk of consequences — such as reduced playing time in a tournament — well before any decision is made. The goal is transparency and partnership, not surprise.

For BTB families: more consistent coaching, faster communication, zero information falling through the cracks.

04 · LIVE NOW

The Recruiting Hub

A centralized resource for every BTB family navigating the college process. Timelines, contact strategies, film standards, exposure events.

03 — Tournament Wins
★ The Club Is Proud

Setting the
standard.

Two BTB teams. Two championships. One incredibly proud club.

Tournament season is officially underway, and the 2034 Snipers and 2032 Riptide have set the tone with their first championships of the year. To the players, coaches, and families behind these wins — congratulations. The work showed up.

2032
★ Thank You

Class on every
sideline.

To every BTB family and player who's already taken the field this season — thank you. The way our teams have conducted themselves, the way our parents have represented the club, the energy and class shown on every sideline so far — it has been first-class across the board. That doesn't go unnoticed, and it's the foundation we keep building on.

The BTB Standard

As we grow,
we hold the line.

BTB is on the scene more than ever — more teams, more tournaments, more eyes on us. With that comes responsibility. How we present ourselves, how we behave, our energy, and our sideline conduct all reflect the entire club. Every player, every parent, every coach carries the brand. The standard is the standard — for everyone, everywhere we play.

To Every BTB Team

The season is just
getting started.

These wins belong to the entire club, but the season belongs to all of us. To every BTB team still preparing, training, and waiting for their moment — we're cheering you on. Hit the ground running. Represent the standard. Your moment is coming.

Designed by Coach Dan

Coach Dan has spent the last six months building this — drawing from over twenty years of coaching experience — to create something the travel lacrosse world hasn't seen.

Practice gets you reps. Tournaments get you exposure. But the players who actually get recruited — who play varsity early, start in college, lead programs — are doing the work between practices that nobody sees. The Online Academy delivers that work, year-round, on every player's phone.

A Tiered Curriculum

Knowledge that scales
with the player.

Each age group gets its own track. As players grow, the depth grows with them. Concepts compound year over year — never repeated, always built upon.

01
Foundation Tier
Younger age groups · Game basics, vocabulary, IQ fundamentals.
02
Development Tier
Middle age groups · Position concepts, advanced IQ, situational play.
03
Mastery Tier
High school years · Film study, recruiting prep, college-level concepts.
What's Covered

Four pillars. Every tier.

01

Film Study

Read the game faster. See what coaches see.

02

Lacrosse IQ

Decisions, situations, schemes. The mental game built systematically.

03

Position Training

Attack, middie, defense, goalie — specialized work, not generic drills.

04

Off-Field

Recruiting, character, leadership, accountability. The full athlete.

🏆
★ The Wall of Fame

Finish a tier.
Earn your spot.

Every player who completes a tier earns a permanent place on the BTB Wall of Fame — featured directly on bethebestli.com. Public recognition for private work. Proof that the off-field grind is being seen.

The End Goal

The work today is
the recruiting edge tomorrow.

Knowledge compounds. A 2034 player who masters Foundation Tier this year arrives at high school years ahead of peers who skipped it. By the time the recruiting process starts, BTB players have already done the hard work — and it shows.
